This time, it’s taking the global stage. From budding artists to seasoned creators, motorcycling enthusiasts from across the world are invited to submit their imaginative expressions of what riding means to them. What is “The Art of Motorcycling”?
Launched in 2020 by the famous automaker Royal Enfield, the “Art of Motorcycling” competition began as a creative hub for artists and motorcycling lovers to express their passion through various art forms. It celebrates more than just the thrill of riding, it’s a canvas for storytelling, culture, and imagination for Motor Lovers. From digital illustrations to handcrafts, and even comic art, the competition offers a platform for anyone who feels inspired by the open road.
The 2024 Global Shift
The 2024 edition of the ” Art of Motorcycling” competition marks the 4th year of this event, and for the first time, Royal Enfield is reaching beyond borders to include participants from all corners of the globe. Artists from Thailand, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, and Mexico are all joining in. This global invitation opens the door for a new wave of cross-cultural creativity, bringing together the global rider community.
Season 4 Theme: Y3K Edition
This year’s theme is the future of motorcycling in the year 3000 with the “Y3K Edition.” Picture this: What will riding look like in a world of advanced technology, evolved humanity, and limitless adventures? Artists are encouraged to raise imaginations and think of motorcycling not just as a ride but as a futuristic experience.

Artform Categories
Royal Enfield welcomes all kinds of creators including digital arts and hand-drawn art. Participants can submit in one of four categories: Generative AI, Digital Art, Handcrafted Art, and Comic Art. The competition is designed to include all skill levels, so whether you’re a beginner or a professional, there’s a space for a unique perspective.
How to Participate
To enter the competition, interested riders can register on Royal Enfield’s website, create their design, and share it on Instagram with the hashtags #ArtOfMotorcycling and #ArtOfMotorcyclingY3K. Submissions are open until October 20, 2024, so there’s still time to get your masterpiece ready.

Judges and Exciting Prizes
The competition will be judged by a panel of global experts, including Aaquib Wani, Debjyoti Saha, Haruka Satonaka, and Varun Gupta, along with regional juries like Mao Gronewold from Mexico and Takrit Krutphum from Thailand. But it’s not just up to the experts, the creative community will have its say too, with social media polls contributing to the selection process.
Now talking about the prizes, the top eight winners will get an all-expenses-paid trip to the prestigious Motoverse community event in Goa, where their works will be featured on exclusive Royal Enfield’s Art of Motorcycling (AOM) Arena.
Also, the winners will get limited edition lifestyle kits with custom apparel inspired by the winning art. On top of that, the winners will also be spotlighted on Royal Enfield’s Ride Pure Podcast. Last but not least, for one lucky Comic Art winner, there’s an exclusive opportunity to collaborate with Royal Enfield on special projects.
Competition Venue
The competition will be conducted online through social media posts, hashtags, and selection by judges along with audience polls. However, after the selection, the winners will be sponsored for the Motoverse event in Goa, a thrilling gathering of artists and motorcycle lovers. Last year too the Motoverse event was held in Goa, India, where participants had the chance to meet, collaborate, and celebrate their shared love for both art and motorcycling.
