The third variant from the Ola S1 series, Ola S1 Air was launched on Saturday(22.10.22) by the company’s CEO, Bhavish Agarwal along with several other software and accessory upgrades for Ola electric scooters.
Competing with the conventional ICE scooter’s price point, the Ola S1 Air is the most affordable electric scooter from the company.
Though the running cost of EVs is cheaper, the initial cost of owning an electric scooter is still high. This is what Ola electric has taken care of, by launching Ola S1 Air at a competitive price of Rs. 85,000

Ola S1 Air Electric Scooter Features:
Ola S1 Air comes in five color variants- Black, Mint, White, Silver, and Coral Glam. Talking about the exterior design of the Ola S1 Air is almost similar to its pricy siblings.
It has some minor differences like dual shock absorbers at the rear, telescopic front forks, Rear Twin Suspension, drum brakes at the front and back, etc.
It features a 7.0-inch touchscreen, navigation, BlueTooth connectivity, and call notification as well. Additionally, the Ola S1 Air is likely to get a boot space of 34 liters.
The Ola S1 Air electric scooter runs on the updated MoveOS 3.0 software connectivity, which has many control features like hill-hold, proximity unlocking, and independent profiles.
With the latest update, Ola electric has introduced a moods feature to change display themes as per the user’s choice.
Ola S1 Air provides top-notch tech features like screen customization, custom sounds for a 10W powerful speaker, and multiple profiles to share the scooter safely with friends and family.
Talking more about the design, the Ola S1 Air has a sculpted seat, flat floorboard, a Fluidic design, and a Grab handle as well, which makes it more comfortable to ride.
Ola S1 Air’s Battery, Top Speed, and Power:
Ola S1 Air has a lithium-ion battery pack of 2.5 kWh. It provides a top speed of 85 kmph and a Peak motor power of 4.5 kW.
It can accelerate up to 0 to 40 km/h in just 4.3 seconds. To change the speed and acceleration, the Ola S1 Air has 3 ride modes- Eco, Normal, and Sports.
Ola S1 Air Range:
With the 2.5 kWh battery pack, Ola S1 Air provides a range of 101 km on a single full charge in Eco-riding mode. Using a regular charger, it takes around 4.5 hours to fully charge an Ola S1 Air. One hour of charge easily offers 25kms of range.
Ola S1 Air Price, Booking:
The all-new Ola S1 Air is the most affordable electric scooter offered by the company, which is priced less than other models in the Ola S1 series. Ola S1 Air is priced at Rs 84,999 (ex-showroom) in India.
Pre-booking of Ola S1 Air can be done from the Ola app or Ola Electric.com only at Rs.999. The delivery of the Ola S1 Air is likely to start in early April 2023.

The all-new Ola S1 Air has 3 riding modes Eco, Normal, and Sport, meanwhile Ola S1 and S1 Pro have an additional Hyper mode along with the existing three ride modes.
While charging at home, the time taken by the Ola s1 and S1 Pro is 4 hours 48 minutes and 6 hours 30 minutes respectively. On the other hand, to fully charge an Ola S1 Air it takes only around 4 hours and 30 minutes.
The company Ola is aiming to sell the all-new OLA S1 Air not only in metro cities but also in rural areas as a mass-market product. The launch of an affordable mass-market product from Ola electric, was the Diwali surprise CEO talked about on his Twitter handle.
Reports states that Ola electric is working on Ola electric car and Ola electric bike, likely to be launched by the end of 2025.
Ola S1 Air electric scooter is priced at Rs 84,999 in India. This is the most affordable electric scooter of the S1 series from Ola electric.
The booking window for the Ola S1 air will open in February 2023, and the delivery to start in April 2023.
One can charge Ola electric scooter by plugging in one end of the company-provided charger into the scooter and another end into any residential 120V-240V socket.
Alternatively, one can use Ola’s Hyper charger.
Ola S1 Air offers a riding range of 101 km, once fully charged. Full charging takes around 4.5 hours.
