Ather prioritizes safety in all its offerings, and the Rizta being a family scooter, is full of unique safety features. It inherits several safety features from the Ather 450 series such as the FallSafe, Emergency Stop Signal (ESS), AutoHold, and Reverse Mode. Here are some additional safety features included in the new Ather Rizta:
- Ather Skid Control System: This is an advanced traction control system that helps prevent loss of control during acceleration on slippery surfaces using the new wheel speed sensor and Ather’s Drive Controller. This provides increased stability and control for riders of all experience levels.
- Magic Twist: We are used to twisting the scooter handle in one direction for one obvious reason i.e. acceleration. Meanwhile, Ather introduced the Industry’s first magic twist handle, when twisted in the opposite direction, it brings the scooter to a halt. This revolutionary system works with a regeneration-powered braking system.
- Live Location: The live location sharing features allow the sharing of the current location with just the click of an SOS button to your family.
- Ping my scooter: Forgot where you parked your scooter? Don’t worry, the new Ather Rizta has a ” ping my scooter ” option that, when turned on, flashes lights and activates sounds to quickly find your electric scooter.
New Smart Features
The Rizta comes with a lot of advanced and Industry-first technology. Ather introduced a new “Smart Eco Mode” that extends the riding range by an impressive 18%, allowing riders to travel further on a single charge.
New Ather Talkback lets the rider interact with the scooter hands-free using over 40 voice commands, keeping your focus on the road. It works with the integrated Alexa copilot AI to quickly answer your queries like ” Alexa, where is my Ather Rizta? “
Ather also introduced a new version of the mobile app starting with Rizta models with an improved user experience focusing on minimalism and efficiency. The all-new Ather mobile app comes with “WidgetX” which provides a customizable dashboard displaying important vehicle information like battery level, trip statistics, and live location sharing.
Live notification in the smartphone lock screen is a revolutionary feature in an electric scooter which provides real-time information about charging status providing low and full battery alerts.
The new Ather Rizta comes with a new multipurpose charger to quickly charge your phones, laptops, and other electronics. It also gets a wireless charger in the underseat storage for Ather’s new smart helmets – the Ather halo series.
Overall, the Ather Rizta electric scooter is a compelling option for families seeking a comfortable, convenient, and practical electric two-wheeler made for Indian conditions. With its focus on ample space, innovative features, impressive range options, and safety, the Rizta is likely to rival popular Indian electric scooters like Ola S1 pro, Hero Vida V1, and TVS iQube electric.
