Jeep India is getting ready to launch the facelift version of the iconic Meridian, and it’s more than just a small update, it’s a complete makeover. The new version, called the Meridian 2.0, brings some serious improvements in both technology and design. Let’s understand what’s new in the Jeep Meridian 2.0 based on the information we have so far:
Tech Upgrades: ADAS and more
Jeep is aware that Indian car buyers prioritize safety along with design and comfort, so the facelifted Meridian is expected to come with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) for enhanced safety. It includes features like adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, and automatic emergency braking, making it safer and easier to drive. It’s like having a co-pilot who’s always got your back!
Along with the ADAS features, the Meridian 2.0 is expected to get a 360-degree camera, parking sensors, and multiple airbags.
Exterior Upgrades: Modern and Stylish
The exterior of the facelifted Meridian has a fresh, modern look compared to the standard Jeep Meridian we are used to seeing. Going through the released shots we saw a slightly updated grille, new LED headlamps, and even brighter daytime running lights (DRLs). The new bumper with silver details gives it a sleek look along with new redesigned alloy wheels.

Engine: Powerful and Reliable
The updated Meridian 2.0 is expected to retain its iconic 2.0-litre diesel engine, offering 170hp power and 350Nm of torque. Buyers have the option to choose between a six-speed manual or a nine-speed automatic transmission. There’s also talk of a new petrol engine variant, but it’s not likely to arrive until 2025.
Variants and Color Options
The Jeep Meridian facelift will continue to offer the same variants and color options as its non-facelift variant, ensuring that customers have a range of choices to choose from. The base variant comes with essential features like a 10.1-inch touchscreen, basic ADAS functions, and standard safety features.
While, the mid variant adds advanced ADAS features, better interior materials, and ventilated seats for added comfort. The top variant has everything, including the full ADAS suite, premium leather seats, a panoramic sunroof, and advanced infotainment options.
