The Yamaha RX100 was loved because it was fast and affordable, a combination that’s hard to find in currently existing models. To one honest, the RX100 is all about its iconic engine sound. Bringing back the RX100 isn’t going to be easy. To match the original’s performance and sound (buyer's perception), Yamaha might have to increase the motor size or find new ways to recreate the bike’s iconic sound, just like many electric scooters. These are big challenges for the comeback, but Yamaha is committed to finding a way to make it work. As we move towards a sustainable future, the idea of an electric RX100 becomes even more appealing.
