Ola Electric has officially launched its much anticipated electric bikes Roadster Pro, Roadster, and Roadster X at a starting price of Rs. 1,99,999. It sprints from 0 to 40 kmph in 1.2 seconds offering a range of 579 km on a single charge.

Ola Electric, a dominant force in India’s rising electric two-wheeler market, has officially launched its much-anticipated electric bike Roadster series: Roadster Pro, Roadster, and Roadster X on August 15, 2024. The price for the top variant Roadster Pro starts at Rs. 1,99,999 for the 8 kWh variant, with deliveries to begin from Diwali 2025.

Ola Roadster

The mid-variant Ola Roadster is a perfect balance between performance and affordability for Indian motor enthusiasts. It accelerates from 0-40 km/h in 2.2 seconds and a top speed of 126 km/h, which is impressive enough, right?

It is offered in three battery pack variants- 2.5 kWh, 4.5 kWh, and 6 kWh offering a claimed range of 579 km on a single charge. It comes with four riding modes: Hyper, Sport, Normal, and Eco. The top battery variant with 6 kWh battery takes around 7.9 hours to get fully charged using a 2.2 kW AC charger. It features include a 6.8″ TFT screen, hill hold and decent, proximity lock and unlock, and many more.

The Ola Roadster features a 7-inch touchscreen and stylish diamond-cut alloy wheels, offering a premium riding experience. The Ola Roadster is priced at Rs. 1,04,999 for the 2.5 kWh variant, Rs. 1,39,999 for the 4.5 kWh battery variant, and Rs.1,39,999 for the 6 kWh variant with deliveries to begin from January 2025.

Ola Roadster X

Roadster X is the most affordable electric bike from the Ola Roadster series with a starting price of Rs. 74,999 for the 2.56 kWh battery variant, Rs 84,999 for the 3.5 kWh variant, and Rs. 99,999 for the 4.5kWh battery variant. The Roadster X offers exceptional value for money without compromising on the essential features of the electric bike. Roadster X also comes with four riding modes: Hyper, Sport, Normal, and Eco.

Unlike other two models, it lacks touchscreen, hill hold, proximity lock, unlock and tamper sensor. Roadster X can accelerate from 0-40 km/h in 2.8 seconds offering a top speed of 124 kmph. While it may not match the top speeds and acceleration of its Roadster Pro and Roadster, the affordable Roadster X delivers an exceptional performance with a claimed range of 200 km on a single charge.
