Electric Vehicles are on the rise, with affordable models being launched every month. This makes buyers confused which vehicle to choose from. Lets understand which is better:
Electric Vehicles have lower operating cost compared to petrol Cars. This is because electricity to charge EVs is much cheaper than petrol.
Electric Vehicles produce Zero Tailpipe emissions compared to the harmful green house gases emitted by petrol Cars.
Electric Cars accelerate faster than Petrol cars due to the production of rapid torque. Electric cars also produce less noise and vibration, hence more comfort.
Since the Vibration in electric cars are minimal, they have fewer moving parts in comparison to Petro Cars which means they less maintenance.
Currently, Government offers several subsidies on purchase, ownership, and charging of Electric Vehicles which makes them quite affordable to purchase and maintain.
The issue of Range anxiety with EVs is being drastically solved by improving the EV Charging infrastructure making it easier to plan road trips.
Electric Vehicle owners are exempted from paying several taxes like road taxes, income tax rebates in comparison to the petrol cars.
